APPARTMENTO PICCOLO PRINCIPE
This apartment is in a fabulous location in Monterosso. The apartment is exactly as described and overlooks a small square with a wine bar, restaurant and small grocery/fruit and veg shop. It was a very easy walk from the station on arrival. Access to the trails and ferries were 5 minutes from the apartment. Couldn't ask for better as a base for exploring the area.

We LOVED this sweet apartment in the heart of the old town of Monterosso al Mare. The place was immaculate, well organized and equipped and Caroline gave us great tips into the city and culture. She responded immediately to our inquiries and we were delighted by the cuisine at Ristorante Ciak that Lorenzo and his dad run. Best pesto gnocchi ever! If we come back to this tourist town, we would certainly stay here again.

The best in Monterosso! Second time staying in Monterosso and this place was incredible! So much space for two people, full kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities. The balcony was incredible and we loved sitting out in the afternoons and relaxing. Comfortable bed, air conditioning and heating a bonus! Location is everything and this is prime Realestate in Monterosso! Everything within seconds of your door. Will recommend to everyone and if I return to Monterosso for a third time, this is my #1

A very nice apartment, it's clean and organized. Perfect for a couple. Very nice balcony spot and you can hear the restaurants below preparing the dinner before you go out. Perfect location in Monterosso, very cozy and beautiful. Good communication with the host and a very nice experience over all. 5 out of 5 stars.

This apartment is perfect if you want to submerse yourself in the real life of Monterosso! We loved being able to look down into the square-from the balcony and windows to the the amazing mix of locals and tourists enjoying the town's charm. The apartment was well equipped with everything you could need. We stayed as a family of four, two adults and two children (ages 10 and 12) and it was perfect! Caroline offered us a warm greeting and showed us around the apartment, including pointing out key details for guests to better enjoy their stay; places to eat (their family restaurant Ciak is a MUST stop during your stay!), city map, details about places to visit and how to get there, etc. all of which were put into a concise binder for reference. We couldn't have asked for a better place to get the feel for the community and the cool little town that is Monterosso. Highlights: meals at Ciak restaurant, hike to Vernazza, boat cruise with Fish & Chill and daily beach time- towels, masks and fins provided by hosts! Don't pass on this apartment!

We stayed at Caroline and Lorenzo's place in Monterosso for three nights. We found the apartment clean and spacious with comfy beds. Monterosso is a great place to base yourself when visiting the Cinque Terre. The apartment is on the second floor overlooking a small piazza with a restaurant and a fabulous bar right outside the front door.

APPARTMENTO PRINCIPE
If this Airbnb is avaiiable for your dates, book it! We waited last minute to book our Airbnb in Cinque Terre and somehow this place was available in Monterosso - my wife and I feel very fortunate! When writing reviews like this I try to be very honest and I have nothing bad to say about this apartment or host! This apartment was by far the best Airbnb we stayed in, in Europe, and by far better than any of the Hotels we stayed at, too! My wife and I felt very comfortable at this apartment and didn’t want to leave! The apartment is located just outside the town square (the perfect location you want to be in) which means you aren’t climbing a lot of stairs - there are ten or less and they’re very easy. The apartment is a lot bigger than we expected, very clean, cozy and the shower, the shower is amazing! Since Cinque Terre was one of our last cities to visit it was nice to have all the amenities of home - laundry, comfy bed, new TVs, comfy couch, clean sheets, clean towels, a nice shower, iron, a very nice kitchen and more. The host did a very good job setting this apartment up for travelers and provided great directions for check-in, restaurant recommendations and made herself available throughout our stay. By mistake, we were hanging laundry outside and shut the door behind us, locking ourselves out. It wasn’t even five minutes after I contacted the host that she was at the apartment letting us back in! All and all, a wonderful stay and we will return!!!

What a beauty!! This is one of those rare times when you get more than your expected. The pictures looked ok, but when we got there we were blown away. How cute was this place and clean. The bathroom was amazing. The shower was exceptionally large and had a rain showerhead and multiple showerheads!! They also have TVs in the living and bedroom. The TV in the living room is smart TV, so you can Netflix and chill if you're feeling lazy. The apartment was located in old town, perfect location to everything, grocery stores, wine bars and restaurants. Their family restaurant is close by (~50m) and was the best dinner experience we had on our trip to Italy. Don't worry just book it, you won't regret it!!

This place was beyond expectation. Since before we arrived (party of 4), we had excellent communication with Carolina and Lorenzo to make sure our arrival, parking, and check-in go as smooth as possible. I met Carolina and Lorenzo, beautiful and warm welcome at their restaurant. The check in was quick and easy. The House was a gem; modern decor, hardwood floor, modern bathroom/shower, beautiful lighting, cold AC, fast Wifi. Also, the House had an outside shower for your "after the beach rinse." A washer, ...etc. The House is few steps away from the heart of the Monterosso al Mare, and few steps more to the beach. The trail to Vernazza was also a short distance from the house. Over all, the stay, the host and the town was one of the highlights of our trip throughout Europe. Thank you again, Carolina and Lorenzo and looking forward revisiting your town.

We loved the apartment at so many levels. First - Monterosso is probably the best town to stay in while in Cinque Terre, as the town and the beach are at the same level and you don't have to climb/descent stairs to go from one to the other. The apartment is very central, and as you step out of the apartment you are in the midst of all the restaurants. The beach itself is only about 100ft away. Also to get to the apartment you have to climb only about 15 easy steps, and the number of stairs needed to get to the apartment should be a key criteria in cinque terre especially if you have luggage. The apartment is very nicely decorated and Caroline was very helpful throughout our stay. We dined at their restaurant Ciak, which is very good too.
